After their 5-0 demolition of Basingstoke in the GMAC Cup Qualifying Round at Buckingham Road in midweek took their unbeaten run in all competitions to 17 games,
Trevor Gould's side rattled off their 7th straight win to reach the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup for the second consecutive season.
The then Spartan League minnows had beaten Conference side Sutton United 4-1 at home in the 2nd Qualifying Round and they took a shock lead in the 40th minute when Alan Roe curled in free kick from the right and Hector Welsh got between 2 defenders to head past Ducks keeper Keith Baker.
United levelled just 3 minutes into the second half when Derek Duggan's curling free kick into the box found the unmarked Dave Botterill who dived to flick his header into the corner.
Just 3 minutes later it was 2-1 Aylesbury when Baker's long goal kick against the wind bounced once and while the Yeading defence stood and watched, Botterill nipped in to clip the ball past defender Les Williams and over stranded keeper Sean Berry.
It was 3-1 in the 77th minute when Cliff Campbell flicked on to Gary Harthill who crossed low in to the middle where Cliff Hercules arrived from nowhere to stab the ball home for a simple but delightful goal to seal The Ducks' place in the next round.
