After a thumping 5-0 home win over Barking in the FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round on the Saturday, The Ducks took their goal tally to a dozen in 3 games with this League Cup win over Whyteleafe at Buckingham Road.
A burst of 3 goals in the space of 7 minutes towards midway through the half effectively did the damage with Paul Hobbs (17), Jon Blencowe (19) and Ian Hazel (23) on target for United. Cliff Hercules (61) added a fourth in the second half to give The Ducks an away second round trip to Heybridge Swifts.
