Craig Henney converted and sent the Ducks through to the First Qualifying Round and a meeting with Margate.
The first half was evenly contested although Enfield had the better of the chances. Craig Henney had the first effort of the afternoon for the visitors in the first minute when his low shot was easily fielded by Charlie Hasler.
Three minutes later a great free kick delivery from Rudi Hall was volleyed just wide at the back post, before Ricci Crace should have scored when he placed a shot past the post with the whole goal to aim at after Velandia's clever dummy had released him.
Tom Vincent was called into action for the first time when Crace broke through, the Aylesbury stopper doing well to smother the ball down low after coming off his line.
United's attacking play was often being thwarted by a flag happy linesman, the frontline, featuring Andy Shed for the first time this season, suffering a succession of offside decisions awarded against them.
On the occasions they did break through the Ducks looked dangerous, and Nathan Graham had a shot blocked and then two minutes later Henney shot wide after Justin Gordon had sprayed the ball into his path.
Chances were still being made at either end in the final minutes of the half, and another slick interchange of passes from Aylesbury led to Sam Swonnel crashing a shot wide before Vincent made a fine save from point blank range to keep Enfield from scoring.
They went close again on 36 minutes when Valandia was allowed to drift inside before he fizzed a shot just wide of the far post, although Vincent probably had the effort covered.
Aylesbury were hanging on somewhat as the half drew to a close as first a driven low effort was turned narrowly over the bar by one of their own defenders, and then the resulting corner found its way to Crace who shot well over.
Half-time: Enfield 0-0 Aylesbury
The visitors made two changes at half time - Nathan Liburd replacing Danny Ripley and Aston Goss coming on for a rusty looking Andy Shed.
United began to make more of an impression after the interval, and Ben Stevens shot wide early on after a long-throw was played inside to him.
Aylesbury were forced into their final substitution on 53 minutes when Jamie O'Grady replaced Sam Swonnel.
With almost his first touch O'Grady nearly set up an opening goal. His ball into the box was dummied by Graham which released Henney whose shot was well saved by Hasler.
Henney had another chance soon after when he was again played in, but his finish lacked any power and was easily gathered by Hasler.
The scoring was finally opened on 67 minutes and came with the run of play. In a near carbon copy of his first goal against Banbury in the FA Cup a few weeks earlier, one quick counter attack and the unstoppable Graham was away and finished calmly past the keeper. 1-0 Aylesbury
Aylesbury tried hard to press home their advantage but a second goal just would not go in. A long throw wasn't properly dealt with by the Town and Graham's overhead kick was headed just wide by the diving Aston Goss.
Henney saw another effort held by Hesler after Goss' run and pass inside had released him and then Kavanagh headed a good opportunity wide from a right sided free kick delivery.
Having made a couple of attacking substitutions the home team began to come back into the game and they threatened through one of their new faces Glenn Harvey who shot wide of the upright from outside the area.
And they equalised nine minutes from time with a goal out of nothing. Richard Georgiou collected the ball and fired a missiled shot high into the back of the net from outside the area. 1-1
As has been the case many times already this season, Aylesbury refused to let their heads drop and seemed determined not to let the game get away from them as they set about looking for a winner.
Five minutes from time Graham was played in once more and although the ball was cleared away from him it dropped to Steves, but his fierce shot was straight at Hasler.
Then, in the 88th minute, any thoughts of a replay were hastily dispelled as the Ducks were awarded a penalty against a clumsy challenge by Steve Magonga on Graham.
Henney converted and Enfield didn't have time to build up another meaningful attack, and Aylesbury will now go on to meet Ryman Premier side Margate in the next round.
