Despite dominating the first period the Ducks had a solitary Sarah Cole half volley to show for their efforts but this all changed at half time with the introduction of striker Hannah Franklin.
A Kay Norton goal two minutes after the restart settled United's nerves before Franklin junior took centre stage with a hat-trick inside eight minutes to leave the visitors reeling.
Norton added her second on sixty five minutes before Franklin turned provider curling in a corner for captain Sarah Gerrard to turn the ball in at the far post.
Gemma Butterfield's lob beat the keeper for an eighth before Franklin popped up again with just five minutes remaining to add her fourth.
Not to be outdone, sibling Gemma Franklin added her name to the scoresheet from her sister's corner to take the score into double figures, before substitute Twinkle Dean completed her comeback from injury and illness with a header from a corner from guess who, yes Hannah Franklin again.
Despite sitting mid-table the Ducks are on a good run of form of late and continue their run in on Sunday with the return trip to Ascot, a game which the Berkshire side can't be looking forward to.
