Aylesbury made an attacking start to the game which culminated in Suzie Cole delivering a great corner that Sarah Flight connected well with but her shot was saved.
The opposing goalkeeper then released the ball quickly catching Aylesbury United off guard resulting in a Chiltern Saints counter attack ending with them scoring the first goal of the match in the 9th minute.
Aylesbury United responded immediately with Gemma Franklin being put through on goal twice, but both her shots were well saved.
Aylesbury continued the pressure with their midfield and lone striker Kay Norton linking up well. This led to a good through ball from Suzie Cole to the striker but her shot was blocked as was the rebound.
However Aylesbury's determination finally paid off when they equalised in the 17th minute following an excellent through ball from Sarah Flight to Suzie Cole whose shot found the back of the net.
Aylesbury carried on in an attacking mood with both Gemma Franklin and Tash Good shooting wide from good positions as well as Leigh Reed heading just wide.
Surprisingly Chiltern Saints scored again in the 40th minute after a misplaced goal kick, the United defence not being quick enough to react.
One half time change resulted in Kayleigh Johnston replacing Tash Good. Pushing hard for an equaliser Gemma Franklin's shot was well saved after a good through ball from Leigh Reed.
Franklin was again involved with the eventual equaliser following good link up play with Kay Norton whose shot finished in the back of the net in the 57th minute.
Three minutes later the position was reversed with Kay Norton providing a pass to Gemma Franklin whose shot found the net.
Chiltern Saints counter attacked hitting the bar but the Aylesbury defence held out well with some excellent tackles and good passing.
However, in the last quarter Aylesbury's superiority told with two further goals, one from Gemma Franklin and one from Suzie Cole in response to a third goal by Chiltern Saints.
In the remaining minute of the game Bethan Harris shot was saved well by the Chiltern Saints Goalkeeper.
Despite the score line this was a hard and well fought win for Aylesbury United Ladies with Leigh Reed being awarded Player of the Match although the whole team played well and will go into their first league game full of morale and confidence.
