It wasn?t as good a performance as the previous week?s win at Denham, but it was efficient and three goals in five minutes early in the game effectively ended the match as a contest.
Sarah Cole made her first start of the season in place of her injured sister and made her mark immediately, being involved in the first two goals. The diminutive winger pulled the ball back for Leigh Reed to slide home the first after eleven minutes and then confidently scored the second from a pass from Tine Jensen.
Three minutes later Sue Wynes kept up her record of scoring in every match of the season and Aylesbury were cruising.
Sarah Cole added a fourth with a sublime finish, looping the ball over the keeper just after the half hour mark and then her side sat back a little and the visitors had their best spell of the game culminating in their goal, a well taken effort from the edge of the area.
The second half was a little scrappy although Aylesbury created the better chances. Tine Jensen?s fine run found Leigh Reed in space but the striker?s effort went agonisingly wide straight after the restart, as stubborn defending regularly thwarted the Ducks attacking forays.
The healthy lead enabled United to use all five permitted substitutes and inevitably this slightly disrupted the pattern of the game.
Sarah Cole was denied her hat-trick by the upright with twenty minutes left before Aylesbury concluded the scoring ten minutes later.
A pinpoint Sue Wynes corner was well met by centre back Lucy Ilic whose bullet header crashed home off the crossbar.
Substitute Kay Norton was denied by a fine save late on and the woodwork again came to the visitors rescue in injury time as their keeper pushed a Sue Wynes drive on to the post and away to safety.
Another competent Aylesbury performance and another valuable three points as the Ladies section continue their resurgence.
