Missing Jack Wood and Justin Gordon it was all change again as Will Smith and Jamie O?Grady replaced them in the full back positions, whilst Paul Edgeworth and Ben Baines were both recalled.
Once again though, United had to survive a number of opposition chances and could have found themselves behind on a few occasions before eventually coming good with a controlling last third of the match.
In the fourth minute Oxhey could have been ahead had Ian Bywater controlled his volley better when he met a corner kick unopposed, before Adam Lowton fired well wide from range seven minutes later.
Sillitoe was soon called into action for the first time of the afternoon when he produced a fine tip over from Lewis Putnam?s driven effort. Putnam is Oxhey?s top scorer this season with 16 goals to date and he showed why with another fierce shot shortly afterwards but again Sillitoe matched it by touching the ball onto the bar. The resulting corner kick was powered wide by the arriving head of Bywater.
It was Putnam who went close again in the 19th minute with an early shot that went over the bar.
The match wasn?t proving to be a particularly stirring affair at this point, but United finally mustered their first shots at goal with two shots in 90 seconds midway through the half.
First Acheampong chested Lee Grace?s clearance straight back into Baines? path and his powerful drive was straight at Sam Styles, then Coulter tried his luck with a 25-yard shot which whistled past the post with Styles rooted to the spot.
As the half drew to an uninspiring close a Jones free-kick was comfortably caught by Styles and some good linkup between Mulholland and Coulter ended with the former firing a shot high over the crossbar as the Ducks ended marginally the better side.
Half-time: Aylesbury 0-0 Oxhey
Once again, Oxhey started the half on top and should have gone ahead when Bywater?s skimmed header came through to Putnam but he couldn?t get the ball past Sillitoe from close range.
Aylesbury were quickly on their own game in the second half though and after Garcia had threatened with a long shot, they took the lead through the reinstated Edgeworth. Jones? quick thinking at a free-kick released O?Grady down the right and his low cross was swept into the net by Aylesbury?s skipper. 1-0 Aylesbury
Jets nearly hit back straight away when Putnam ghosted his way through the defence with the ball but took it too wide in the end and was unable to get a shot away.
That was about as good as it got for the visitors as, a miss-hit cross from Bywater which had to be turned over the bar, the remainder of the match was well controlled by Aylesbury.
United doubled their lead on 68 minutes when Coulter ran through on Inch?s inadvertent flick on and produced a thumping finish which left Styles no chance. 2-0 Aylesbury
The game then took another turn for the worse from Jets? point of view when Warren Gladdy was sent off ? to the bemusement of most of the crowd ? for what apparently was retaliation against Warren Garcia.
A minute later Aylesbury grabbed a superb third goal. Jones? pass down the line released Coulter and his cross was well met with a looping header by substitute Mickey O?Farrell for his first goal in green & white. 3-0 Aylesbury
The scoring was completed by Lea Coulter who couldn?t miss from three-yards out after more good attacking play by O?Farrell had seen his cross returned by Baines into the six-yard area. 4-0 Aylesbury
Putnam summed up his frustrating afternoon by slashing a wayward effort well off target.
But the closing stages belonged to Aylesbury and in the last five minutes O?Farrell had a shot somehow kept out on the line by Styles after another great move down the left, whilst Coulter nearly completed his hat-trick when he raced onto a long clearance but his shot trickled past the far post.
O?Farrell and Baines both had shots saved as United kept up their pressure right until the final whistle without extending their scoring.
Although a good week for the Ducks, it wasn?t all positive news as Edgeworth and Jones both left the field nursing injuries, but spare a thought for Oxhey who had to endure a second 4-0 thumping in three days.
