Goalkeeper who returned to the club in summer 2015 having earned rave reviews during a loan spell from Hemel Hempstead Town two years earlier (having played against the Ducks just four days earlier during which game regular stopper Jack Sillitoe suffered a dislocated shoulder).

His big impression lead to the loan spell being twice extended, to the maximum three month period, before it came to an end after the St Ives Town game in mid-January 2014, and he returned to his parent club. Spells with Arlesey Town and Hanwell Town then followed in the 2014/15 season.

Alex began his career with Hayes & Yeading Utd in 2008 at the age of 16 as part of the Football Education Development scheme, studying sports science at East Berkshire College. He also played for Crystal Palace Reserves at Loftus Road at the end of the 2008/09 season and for the Middlesex U18 side. In 2009/10, Alex played for the Reserve/Youth teams but the following season he became a member of Hayes & Yeading Utd FT first team squad whilst continuing his Level 3 football coaching studies. Capped on several occasions for England Colleges National Squad, including going on tour and playing in an international tournament in Italy.

Alex followed manager Garry Haylock from Hayes & Yeading FC to Farnborough FC and signed a one year FT contract with the Hampshire Club in the summer of 2011. He started the season at Cherrywood Road as number one choice, but suffered an injury in a game. After recovering, he broke two fingers and ended up making only 7 league appearances with spells at Maidenhead United and Hungerford Town following.

He has also spent time at Harrow Borough.
