He was loaned out to Torquay in 2001 which soon became permanent. He made over 40 appearances for the Gulls but injury cut his time their short.

Sean then had spells with Margate, Northwich Victoria, Crawley Town, Lewes and St. Albans City.

He joined Farnborough Town in 2005 and remained at the club until they folded in 2007 when he joined Basingstoke.

The 2007/08 season saw Sean playing more of a fifth defender role covering for any injuries or suspensions in the back line.

Sean made the decision to stay at The Camrose for the 2008/09 season and he instantly became a first team regular playing at center back, left back and defensive midfield (sometimes all at once!). He was named as Away Fans Player of the Season 08/09.

The 2009/10 was a season where Sean was mainly used at centre back, making the occasional appearance at left back. He is set to remain at the Camrose for 2010/11.
