Fully qualified sports therapist - he was the physiotherapist at his last club Weymouth - Stuart joined City from the Terras in July 2008. The Enfield born striker came up through the junior ranks with Luton Town before signing professional forms at the start of the 1995-96 season. He went on to spend seven seasons at Kenilworth Road, making over 150 appearances, scoring 23 times. Although not a prolific scorer, his pace and strength made his a fans favourite with the Hatters - including a player of the year award in 2000. Spent spells on loan with Oxford United and Rushden & Diamonds during his final season with Luton, before joining Boston United on non-contract terms in August 2002. He spent two seasons with the Pilgrims before a brief period with first division Finnish club RoPS Rovaniemi, where he scored three times in 10 games. Returned to the UK in November 2004 with Dagenham & Redbridge. This move did not work out and after just five outings (four from the bench) he switched to Crawley Town, but this change was no more successful and his contract was cancelled in November 2005. He then joined Eastleigh where he began his sports therapist training (and also combined a commercial managerial role with playing). Scored six times in 18 games but a knee injury at the start of the 2006-07 sidelined him for six months. Moved along the South coast to Weymouth in July 2007.
