Lead Slough to the Isthmian Premier Division title in 1980/90, and was assistant to Mike Keen when Wycombe Wanderers won the same competition in 1982/83.

As a player he scored 150 goals in four years with QPR in the mid 1960s before spending most of his career in the Southern League.
