Brought with him a strong record of working with and developing young players, having also worked as a coach in the academy at Northampton Town, as head of female football and ladies team manager at Oxford City, and with Wycombe Wanderers.

Retained the Ducks' Southern League status at the end of the 2022/23 season, with one of the high points of his tenure a dramatic late win at relegation rivals Highworth Town.

He then oversaw a mass transformation to the club's playing squad the following summer as he built his own team. Some mixed results followed, but Aylesbury were outside the dropzone when his spell with the club came to an end in January 2024.
